Parts A and B of the BSA Annual Health and Medical Record are required of all Scouts and adults participating in any outdoor activity with our troop. They can be filled in online from the web link above and printed out to give to Mr. Carey, the Assistant Scoutmaster (ASM) for Outdoor Activities. For longer outings or for summer camp, the Troop must have not only Part A and Part B on file, but also Part C, which requires a physician's signature.
BSA National Outdoor Awards offer special recognition to Scouts who go the extra mile in the areas of camping, hiking, riding, aquatics, adventure, and conservation. This website details the requirements to earn each of these awards.
Scouts will now have to earn their grade-appropriate "Cyber Chip Award" as part of their rank requirements. Follow the link here, then click on the grade level appropriate for the Scout.

High Adventure programs are designed to challenge Scouts by providing exciting outings and events. They offer training (mostly to unit leaders, but also directly to Scouts in some cases) in several areas including Backpacking, Outdoor Leadership, Rock Climbing and Rappelling, Tower Climbing (K-3 Tower at Camp 3 Falls), Cycling, the Trail Boss Program and Winter Backpacking.

Troop 111 is chartered to the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks Lodge 1430. The Elks provide ongoing support to our unit. Lodge #1430 is located at 2126 Knoll Drive, Ventura, CA 93003.
All adults affiliated with Troop 111 are asked to complete the free online Youth Protection Training offered by the BSA. You do not have to be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America to take Youth Protection Training.
To take Youth Protection training go to My.Scouting.org and create an account. You’ll receive an email notification with your account information, including a member ID/reference number. Find a safe place to keep your password! You'll need to renew this training every two years.
