On a sunny Wednesday in August, Troop 111 participated in a service project for the Ventura Land Trust, near the Big Rock Preserve. Scouts helped to clear overgrowth encroaching on a public trail off of the Ojai Valley Trail, a popular bike path. The weather was warm as we successfully cleared the vegetation. Luckily no snakes were spotted!
